GiftGuru app for iPhone and iPad

At GiftGURU we appreciate that there is nothing more annoying than your APP bothering you constantly with useless information and offers. We know from our own experience how annoying it is.

So… as part of being revolutionary in our approach, we are going to do everything we can do to make sure this APP does not annoy you, whilst at the same time giving you the ability to quickly and simply define the nature of the way we interact. We call it RELATIONSHIP DEFINITION as it lets you set up how you want to work with the APP – our aim is to let you tailor your ongoing relationship with the APP and GiftGURU Retailers.

To be honest it is all a bit simple right now as this is our first release, but be assured we are working hard to ensure a better and more personalised and individually tailored experience will be available to you – at the touch of your notifications and settings buttons.
As an example of this RELATIONSHIP DEFINITION, we intend to insert a button that enables you to insert a discount level that you DO want to be contacted when offered. In a not so far away release you will be able to set yourself up to say, ONLY contact me for discounts greater than 30% off the normal retail price and ONLY for GiftGURU Retailers that are within a 10 kilometre radius. The revolution here is that YOU set the discount and the kilometre radius. You could have set the discount level at 50% and a 50 kilometre radius. (who wouldn’t drive 50k for 50% off).

Anyway this will all come to the APP. Please be patient for the next release. In this the first version of GiftGURU, your GiftGURU will alert you when you are within a set number of kilometres of the retailer you have a GiftGURU. This is handy so you won’t forget you have one. In this release we recommend that you set GPS on, and set your radius at 5km.
Also, GiftGURU’s don’t expire in 12 months, they expire in 24 months. We hope you have used them before that, but if you haven’t, the APP will become very annoying in the last month and will send alerts everyday that you have a GiftGURU about to expire.

For now, Tick Don’t Bug Me, if you want no contacts. Over time you may choose to change this to contact me ONLY when discounts are 50% and they are within 10km of where you are or live.
